In general, there are 2 types of emails: designed and plain text emails. Each of these has their own purpose, so the type of email you choose will depend on the message you want to convey.

Designed emails are divided into 3 main parts: the header, copy, and footer. They include visual and graphic elements such as images, infographics, banners, and occasionally videos.
They are most commonly used for direct sales purposes. They can be sent using a fictitious name or the name of an employee (e.g., Jake from XY company, Jake from the warehouse).
