Customers enter this flow after subscribing to the newsletter, but this doesn’t mean they have made a purchase yet. Let the exclusion triggers contain “Placed order zero times since starting this flow” as you want these subscribers to place their first order. Subscribers exit this flow when they place an order.

This is one of the most fundamental flows as it introduces your company and your offer to the customers more personally. Your customers’ user experience will consequently enhance, leading to increased conversions, brand awareness, loyalty, and a stronger relationship with customers.

If they have subscribed while purchasing for the first time, create a separate, post-purchasing flow.

Consider adding the most successful newsletter email campaigns to the end of the welcome flow. That way, new subscribers will receive your best emails, and at the same time, you’ll have an infinite welcome flow.
